| This was my first rig using maya. Above is a collage of tests. I built, rigged , and textured the model from scratch using a physical model as a reference. | Born from a cube. I started with a cube , inserting edge loops and extruding the basic shape.I was inspired to try a technique that built all the topology rather then relying on poly smooth at the end of the process. |

| Here you can see the project within Maya. I was happy with how the controls came out. The weight painting took some time and a fair bit of tweaking. | The rig also has IK to FK switching. | |||
